Origins of Vivo Barefoot

2000 – With the help of Tim’s Alexander Technique’ teacher he learnt that walking barefoot is the best and healthiest way for your feet to be – using natural reflexes to go up on the balls of the feet. At the end of each lesson he would put his shoes back on and walk home. It started to become obvious how restrictive his shoes were.

Feb 2001 – The first VIVO BAREFOOT prototype was created by Tim Brennan at the Royal College of Art.

July 2001 – Tim Brennan teams up with Galahad Clark of Terra Plana to ace the shoe world with a radical new design in footwear.

2002 – The first VIVO BAREFOOT prototypes are made in Italy with ergonomic fit and feel.Origins of Vivo Barefoot

2003 – VIVO BAREFOOT, A brand new shoe concept is launched – A separate brand under the Terra Plana umbrella.

2004 – Ajoy Sahu of Premiata and Prada fame takes over the design helm creating a new direction for TP shoes and adding a ladies collection to the range.

2005 – RADDISSHMe design-house under the control of Ajoy Sahu and Asher Clark takes over design and develop new styles. Adding the Lion, the Aqua, the Panther and the Odette to the VIVO BAREFOOT range.
